Why This Page Exists

Compliance is one of the unglamorous parts of textile manufacturing — and one of the most operationally consequential. A program with the wrong missing certificate doesn't ship. A retailer's compliance team can disqualify a supplier from consideration with a single missing line item. And the cost of getting compliance wrong scales with the size of the program.

We've structured Diamond Export Industries to make compliance routine rather than reactive. The certifications below are maintained current, audited annually where required, and available on request to qualified buyers.

Core Certifications

Disney Licensed Manufacturer

Authorized to produce Disney-branded textile products for global retail markets. The Disney licensing program covers manufacturing capability, social compliance, IP protection systems and supply chain documentation. Renewed annually with full audit.

Why it matters: One of the most demanding manufacturing certifications in textile licensing. Required for any Disney character bedding program. Surprisingly few mills hold it.

C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)

US Customs supply chain security certification. Validates secure manufacturing, secure container loading, secure documentation and full traceability from facility to destination port.

Why it matters: Required by US importers for expedited customs clearance and reduced inspection rates. Many Tier-1 US retailers will not engage non-C-TPAT suppliers.

Walmart Approved Supplier

Approved-supplier status with Walmart, the world's largest retailer. Walmart's supplier approval covers manufacturing capability, social compliance, financial stability and quality systems.

Why it matters: Demonstrates manufacturing capability at the scale and discipline required by the most demanding retail buyer in the world.

Target Approved Supplier

Approved-supplier status with Target, a major US Tier-1 retailer with rigorous compliance and quality requirements.

Why it matters: Confirms Target-specific compliance documentation, social audit standards and quality systems are in place.

Product Certifications (By SKU) And Verifications

In addition to facility-level certifications, we offer product-level certifications on a per-SKU basis where buyers require them:

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — certifies that the finished product is free from harmful substances
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) — for organic cotton programs, on request
BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) — sustainability-certified cotton sourcing

These are added to programs based on buyer requirements at the development stage, not retroactively.
